Yia Yia 100th Birthday Video (2-15-1916)
Old interview at the school where she was a teacher's assistant when she was 85. She retired at 87 years old. Photos of family, etc. She has 3 children, 5 grand-children, and 9 great-grand-children. My Papou died on Memorial Day, 1973. She travelled to Greece, Italy, England, Germany, Hawaii, and around the US, as far as I know. She was constantly taking photos of all of us and 8mm films in the early days. Other than a bad knee and rotator cuffs she's perfectly healthy, still has all her own original teeth, and has a killer long term memory. Except this song didn’t get airplay unless they played it when the album came out, but everyone called in for Sweet Emotion and Walk This Way. It truly is an underrated song of their time. At 10 years old, it was too heavy for me. Good time for you to be a teenager.

I didn’t know it was from Perry Mason because I didn’t watch-glad you mentioned it. I’m not sure what’s right after the Milk Cow Blues part unless it’s his own fiddling. Can you recognize all the insertions? For me, this is the best Train they’ve ever done, at least compared to all the ones I’ve heard.

@@seandouglas8655 I have parts of those concerts. They won’t release their parts of the TEXXAS Jam so they can’t make a full documentary which angers people. It didn’t help that it was super hot and people were passing out from the heat. Despite that, like this show and my show in ‘77, they sold tickets. Tickets were cheap then, so the partiers didn’t care. This show was $7.00. Nowadays, you better get a top performance.

The regression is almost stunning. Listen to them live in 75 76 and then from 77 on. Joe and Brad played well on this though
@@seandouglas8655 They started to go down in ‘76-at least Steven literally did. I think it was RFK stadium when he was in his black and white get-up where he passed out on the floor. There were some good performances right up into the early 80s, but it was sketchy. At least they had four solid albums back then, which is more than many bands can say. True-the ‘73 to ‘75 shows sound much better.

Brad Whitford is on stage here . Just Joe is missing. In 1981 Brad tried his hand with Whitford & Holmes. He wasn’t involved in the 1982/1983 concerts-just Joey and Tom stuck with Steven then. Edit: Crespo’s guitar work is pretty darn good. Helps when you haven’t snorted Mount Washington.
